Roman Pottery For the stamp see Bonner Jahrb, ci. p. 22; C.I.L. xi. 6700, 100; also Déchelette, i. p. 16. Ateius' place of fabric is unknown, but was in close connection with the Arretine potteries, representing the transition to the Gaulish wares.
