Clazomenian-style amphora. Neck, silhouette palmette. Body, tongues (dark, white, dark, purple): scales containing white drops: bands of dark paint. Purple on the full necking ring, for stripes on alternate dark bands and on foot, for three stripes on the dark area inside the lip. The handles, which are simple in section, are dark.

The shape has no sure parallel in Clazomenian black figure pottery, since the 'broad amphora' seems to be much squatter and has a simpler lip.
