Pottery: red-figured pelike.
(a) Bearded man and youth conversing. The man is bald over the forehead; he leans on a staff and wears an himation. The youth (on right) leans forward on a staff, around the top of which is wrapped his mantle, right hand extended; his hair falls in a wavy mass to his shoulders. Both wear fillets. Between them hangs a strigil.
(b) Draped ephebos and woman confronted. The ephebos (on right) leans on staff; both wear fillets.
Drawing of good period, but careless. Purple fillet; brown inner markings. Eye in profile. Below, a continuous line of purple; above, egg pattern.
