Description
A slab of white marble, the top and right hand bottom corner broken away with a fifty five line inscription, in Greek. There are twelve lines missing. The subject of the inscription is probably a copy of a joint decree issued by the Asiatic Greeks, in which they welcomed or honoured Gaius Caesar, the adopted son of the emperor Augustus, and which appropriately commenced by praising the emperor who sent him.
