Pottery: White-ground lekythos.
A woman in a long sleeved chiton and a saccos bends forward to right over a high loutron, into which both her arms are plunged up to the elbows. The body of the loutron is inscribed, KOMIAΣ. In the field, KAΛO, and an imitation inscription.
Late stage of severe style. Drawing, black outline; hair in thinned black. Brown upper folds of chiton. Eye in archaic type. Below, brown, purple and white lines; above, a strip of key pattern. On shoulder, a pattern of four palmettes and a band of rays, black on red.
