Description
Pottery: Impasto amphora with a dark orange slip and red and white paint. The shoulder has interlaced palmettes and a cable band, a motif repeated below the main zones. The upper zone includes sphinxes, a goat leaping on to a ship's prow, a panther, horseman and lions. The lower zone has similar animals.
