Description
Bronze circular mirror with incised decoration of Menerva (Athena), a warrior, perhaps Achle (Achilles), and a winged female figure or Lasa, who holds a perfume bottle. The lower extension of the disc is engraved with a Lasa who holds the stem of plants. This floral design continues and fills the frame-border; it shows the influence of south Italian and local red-figure vase painting. The background of the medallion and frame-border is filled with punched dots. The mirror was cast with a tang.
