Pottery: Arretine stemmed bowl, much restored.
Round the body, four stamps repeated twice:
(1) Twisted column with large abacus, on each side of which hang sashes, to which is tied a festoon passing all round the vase.
(2) Woman to left with hair knotted up, long girt chiton and himation round lower limbs and over left arm, held up in left hand; he holds up ears of corn (?) in the right.
(3) Two twisted columns, above and below which are paterae, and between them an arch; on this Eros kneels to right on right knee with left foot extended, holding a festoon which passes over the tops of the columns.
(4) Youth moving to right with short girt chiton and high boots; right hand by side; in left he carries a spear (?) over his shoulder.
Above is a band of alternate peltae and paterae, with a wreath of leaves and band of beads below; below the designs is a band of rosettes. Above the abacus of one column is a stamp P.CORELI – P. Corneli; over the other is ANTIOCVS - Antioc(h)us.
