Pottery: black figured amphora.
(a) Heracles wrestling with Antaios: Heracles to right, nude, bearded, with curly hair and fillet, stoops forward and grasps Antaios round neck and shoulders; the latter crouches forward to left touching the earth with right hand, his left being raised above his head; he is nude and bearded, with long tresses. Above Heracles, lion's skin, bow, quiver, and sword suspended. On the left is Athene to right, with long tresses, fillet, aegis with fringe of snakes, long embroidered chiton, in right hand a spear, in left hand her helmet, which is high-crested and bound with a fillet. On the right is Hermes looking to left and pointing away to right with left hand; he is bearded, with hair looped up, short chiton, chlamys, petasos, endromides, and caduceus. Above the centre group, an imitation inscription.
(b) Departure of warrior: A quadriga seen from the front in which are a charioteer looking to left, bearded, with petasos and long white chiton, and a warrior looking to right, bearded, with visored helmet and two spears. On the right is a dog to right, leaping up; on the left, above, a bird flying downwards to left.
