Description
Pottery: black-figured neck-amphora. (a) In the centre, a nude youth on horseback, seen from the front, with two spears in right hand. On either side, facing him, is a female figure with long hair, long chiton, and himation with purple spots; each holds out a hand muffled in drapery. (b) A quadriga seen from the front; in it a charioteer in long white chiton, holding goad, and a warrior with visored helmet and two spears.
