Pottery: red-figured kylix.
Interior: Within a thin red circle, a singer reclining. A bearded man wreathed, with himation round legs, reclines to right on a couch, represented by a thin red line drawn across the circle: his bolster rests against the circle on one side, his left foot on the other: he sings with head thrown back, and strikes the chords of a chelys with a plectrum. From the circle above him hangs a sybene.
In field, Ίππαρ[χ]ο[ς] καλ[ός.
Exterior: (a) Theseus slaying the Minotaur: Theseus (wreathed, hair looped up, short chiton over which is a pardalis knotted over left shoulder, scabbard hanging from right shoulder) rushes to left, sword in hand, against the Minotaur, who has fallen on knees to left, and raises a great rock to hurl at his adversary; on either side, a girl in chiton, himation, and saccos, rushes forward, raising right hand. In centre, έγραφσεν.
(b) Revel of five youths: They are nude and wreathed; the central one bends forward over a large crater, into which he places his right hand in order to fill a kylix in his left; on left, one dances to left, looking back, holding in his right an oinochoe (without foot), and another moves to right, balancing a crater on his left open palm, steadying it with his right. On right, a fourth (mantle over shoulders) balances in his left a kylix, while a fifth, moving to right towards him, plays flutes. Behind this figure Επίκτητος eypa[φσ]ev.

The figures of the girls seem to be added merely to fill the space, and were probably borrowed from the traditional type of combat on vases: cf. BM VasesΕ8 and Ε12.
