Mould-made pottery lamp with a long voluted rounded-tipped nozzle, a narrow flat shoulder and an inward-sloping moulded rim. Between the nozzle volutes is a decorative feature in relief. At the edge of the rim is an air-hole. At the rear is a pierced handle with a triangular ornament above, decorated on the face with an acanthus palmette. The discus is decorated with a frieze of military equipment. The filling-hole is surrounded by concentric mouldings. The lamp stands on a base-ring. Covered with a finger-marked orange-brown slip.
