The print is based on Strutt's portrait completed in 1850, and now held in the collection of the Parliamentary Library of Victoria.
Another copy of this print is held by the State Library of Victoria (H88.21/112).
Original record had 'Ham Brothers' as printer but this has not been corroborated.
The Davis catalogue MS 145 RAI 1867 describes this as : "Lithograph of 'Corunguiam' and 'Munight'. Australians [male symbol] Native Police'. These two lithographs have been done by Strutt."
Davis' 'List of Ethnological Objects collected by the late Geo. Augustus Robinson, and purchased off his widow, Mar 29 1867', MS 147 RAI describes this as: '1 lithograph of “Corunguiam and Munight" Native Australian Police'.

- This print was amongst the material Franks acquired at the sale of J B Davis' estate in early 1883. It was one of a series of drawings, prints, paintings and ethnographic objects relating to Australia which J B Davis purchased in 1867 from Rose Robinson, G A Robinson's widow.
