Women's mat or garment, of the type named Qwana vivi, part of a dance costume. Dyed purple and pink, with a longitudinally-running seam, and a symmetrical design of two longitudinally-running undyed bands stencilled with four square spirals, set between horizontal lines and patterns reminiscent of fern leaves. At both short ends there is a band of open work plaiting in a design of diamonds joined by diagonal lines, the band finished with a long fringe, dyed yellow.
