Wood single outrigger canoe: plain dugout hull (a) with keel and projecting ends decorated with small simple curvilinear design filled with blue pigment, four planks nailed to gunwales as seats, between two planks two narrow cross-pieces simply carved and similarly carved pieces between them on one side of gunwales; float (b) of circular cross-section, symmetrical, with tapering ends, not connected to hull; two booms (c and d), rough saplings, not connected to hull or float; steering paddle (e), blade with blunt straight end.
