Means and date of acquisition uncertain but attached label tied-on, handwritten in ink: "No.6" - of same type as that attached to item HAW.55 i.e. connected with Vancouver Voyage / HMS Discovery / Menzies Collection. See handlist "Catalogue of Curiosities ..." in Sutro Library, California, no.6.
