- From a series of 284 photos made by an un-named photographer on a tour of the Melanesian Mission ship Southern Cross in 1947. Described in the original catalogue as: 9. Port Purvis waterfront at the backdoor of Headquarters is furnished with a huge pontoon left by the Americans, and at these, the Mission ships Patteson, Gwen, St. Mary Stafford and the Selwyn are safely moored. Headquarters workshop, schoolrooms and dormitories edge the foreshore.

- Printed in 1992 by the British Museum from a series of negatives belonging to the Melanesian Mission, in the course of the donation of collection Oc1991,08. The Mission then donated the negatives to the Melanesian Mission archive at SOAS.
