Carved wood head-dress coloured on the front with yellow, red, black and white pigment. It represents a human face wearing a head-dress with carved birds' heads at the top and sides. The face is raised from the carving. It has a red forehead, yellow nose and cheeks, black rimmed eyes, and the lower nose and chin are black. The mouth is depicted open, showing carved teeth. Under the face is a double perforation threaded with a fibre loop.
