Bark painting of ancestral dugong, canoe, lightning snake. The diamond pattern is a saltwater clan design of the Madarrpa people. Painted in black, white, red-ochre and yellow-ochre coloured paints on a roughly rectangular piece of bark, with two wooden stick supports placed on either side of the short ends, and lashed with string.
