- Adrienne Kaeppler has identified this item, plus two other necklaces (Oc1977,Q.2 and 4) as probably being from the Leverian Museum. They could thus have been collected during Cook's third voyage. Circumstantial evidence. See Kaeppler, 'Artificial Curiosities', 1978, p.94.
