Vegetable fibre plaited mat: beige centre and decorative border in black, dark brown and tan.
They belonged to the donor's grandfather, Ebenezer Cayford, who probably obtained them from John Arundel, a well-known personality in the Pacific in the second half of the 19th century (according to the donor).
