This is likely one of the objects from New Zealand exhibited by Angas at an exhibition in the Concert Hall of the Albion Hall, Piccadilly, September 1846. See Report in Manchester Courier & Lancashire General Advertiser, 16 September 1846, p.5.
The component pieces of this lintel have been re-attached by conservators.
