Ornament and pubic-cover made of carved and polished pearlshell (Pinctada Maxima) and vegetable fibre, known as riji or jakuli. No incision or decoration. Two holes have been drilled at the top of the ornament for suspension, part of a plaited vegetable fibre cord remains.

In the Kimberley, in North Western Australia, large ornaments like this are known as riji or jakuli, and in Central and Western Australia, they can also be known as longkalongka. The name for these pearlshell ornaments changes depending on the language group and region.
