Ornament (described as a breast-ornament in the original description) consisting of an concave oval piece of white shell (described as melo shell in the original description). This is overlaid with a small disc of coconut shell with a toothed circumference. This is overlaid with a slightly small disc of pearlshell and overlaid with a slightly smaller disc of orange shell. The pieces are perforated in their centres and are connected by vegetable fibre cord.
