British Museum registration slip (written in 1890?): Hervey Group.
Flat staff of brown wood roughly carved; on one face zig-zags in relief between sunk triangles serrated edges - attached to it is a plaited tail of fibre bound at the end with fine cord with remains of feather plumes, now taken off as being a separate object.
