Ornament composed of a large concave piece of white shell with a hole in the centre through which is passed a cord attached at one end to a sixfoil of cocoa nut with one white & one yellow disc of shell, at the other end a grass bag.
Worn on the side of the head in war & on the hip in peace. From Moresby Island, New Guinea
