Given to the donor by the captain of a missionary vesse but without any locality.

- Charles. F. Wood donated artefacts to the British Museum in 1872, 1874 and 1875, which he seems to have collected on voyages in the Pacific islands from the late 1860s. He documented his 1873 voyage in his book 'A Yachting Cruise in the South Seas' (1875).
