Christy collection registration slip description, written in 1870?:
Small flat bag of woven cocoa-nut fibre, with triangular patterns of black & brown. It is lined inside with interwoven strips (of the leaf of Pandanus or Screw Pine?).
Hooper (2016:178) notes that the Crosthwaite Museum had an association with Cook and it is likely of 18th century origin.
