- Original registration slip:
Stick for throwing spears 2ft 5 1/2" long. It is made of yellow wood. The handle is rounded, above the handle it swells to 1 3/4 in width and then tapers away to the hook end, the hook is cut out of the wood. The inner side on whcih the spear is to lie is slightly concave the back is angular. It is carved ont he three faces with zigzag lines, arrowheaded characters etc, the handle is tipped with gum.
In another hand: A similar without ? N.S. Wales Paris 1867. Similar triangular section is S. Australia, Paris Expn 1867. The hooks however are fixed with gum.
