Drawing; wounded mounted Native North American warrior identified as White Horse, wearing a visor split-horn headdress and carries a bow-lance. His green coloured horse is also wounded. Another warrior is walking at the side the horse with his left hand over the rear of the horse's back, he has a pistol in each hand and is wearing a tall feathered headdress; many hoof prints are on the ground. Both warriors are identified by composite glyph names which are drawn above them.

- There are forty-two Ledger Drawings in the Tall Bear series; drawings 1-16 were drawn by Tall Bear; drawings 17-42 were probably drawn by a Lakota artist, Pretty or Good Bear (Mah-tow-wash-ta); transferred to the British Museum by the William Blackmore Museum, Salisbury, Wiltshire, UK. 1931.
