Drawing; Native North American warrior mounted on red coloured horse and holding a feathered shield. He is striking, with a sword, the head of another wounded warrior (Crow?) who is running on the ground in front of him. The man on the horse has a red painted face and long hair. The man on the ground has long hair; wearing a loin cloth; several wounds are seen on his body.

- There are forty-two Ledger Drawings in the Tall Bear series; drawings 1-16 were drawn by Tall Bear; drawings 17-42 were probably drawn by a Lakota artist, Pretty or Good Bear (Mah-tow-wash-ta); transferred to the British Museum by the William Blackmore Museum, Salisbury, Wiltshire, UK. 1931.
