Sceptre, part of 'Caporal' (Captain) costume as part of Bolivian Morenada dance costumes. At top is metal head, wearing helmet shaped like peacock, decorated with alternate gold and silver protusions with featers at top. Head has long blonde nylon hair and beard. Remainder of sceptre has a black velvet base, and is decorated with three bauble-shaped knobs, with double rows of silver bead thread detail. Based of sceptre has similar silver bead thread fringing.
