- Curator's comments
- This piece is part of a collection in which the stages of manufacture of a bolo tie are exemplified using cut original material, stone and shell work and the unfinished silver bezel. The constituent elements of this collection were made by Patti and Raylan Edaakie a jeweller couple who divide up the work between silversmithing (made by Raylan Edaakie) and stone/shell work (made by Patti Edaakie). Raylan Edaakie does the finishing and Patti Edaakie runs the business.
