Necklace of cylindrical, turquoise-coloured beads with a large shell pendant inlaid with squares of turquoise and a row of jet and mother of pearl triangles. There is one silver bead at the top of the string of turquoise.

- Curator's comments
- The necklace is Santo Domingo made and of the type worn at dances, it is, however very likely that most of the material used is not natural, apart from the shell which provides the backing for the central pendant. The silver bead was said to be the maker's mark.
