Doll, constructed from a cylinder of palmetto fibre, the head decorated with black hair, of commercial black elasticated thread, wool eyes and mouth, multicoloured glass bead loop earrings, and necklace. The dress and cape, combined in a single garment, is constructed of commercial mauve and pink cotton cloth, decorated with horizontal lines of cotton applique rick-rack; souvenir.

- Doll from Miccosukee Reservation on Tamiami trail, circa 20 miles from Miami. Palmetto fibre dolls started to be manufactured c 1918 for the tourist trade; this example is unusual in not having a patchwork dress, perhaps a Miccosukee as opposed to Seminole trait.
