Pair of slippers, tuktukuti (forming part of pair of child's winter hunting boots; going with socks 18.a-b) with cuffs and soles of caribou leg fur, the soles with the fur to the ground. The gathered kamik part between the vamp and the sole is of old shaved caribou with the fur in. The loops are of shaved caribou skin, the ties of green braided wool. The stitching of the slippers is of cotton at the gathering, and the rest of the stitching may be in nylon or sinew.

- Eth.Doc.1181. Field collection by J.C.H.King, 1996. These were made for Mrs. Inuksuk's grandson Jonah Inuksuk, now aged 8 and too large to use these winter hunting boots. (JCK,10/1996).
