Blouse (part of festival costume 'China Poblana'); made of cotton with elaborately decorated yoke in glass beads on yoke and sleeves; front has central bunch of flowers with bird on either side; reverse has geometric motifs, birds, flowers and stripes; square neck, tucks on sleeves, decorated thread seams; ties at front and back of neck.

'...Mexican China Poblana Skirt, Blouse & Reboso. Bought by my mother who lived in Mexico 1930-33 ... The blouse is very finely beaded with birds on the front and flowers on the back.'
