Drum; carved from wood; cylinder of wood, hollowed out inside; circle of deer skin nailed to wooden circular frame and set over one end of cylinder; second circle of wood placed over fur and held in place with synthetic ropes which are threaded through holes pierced in opposite ends of cylinder; dowels of wood threaded through rope to tighten skin; two pieces of sinew tied across skin.
