Pair of kamiks/boots made from scraped seal skin. The legs are made from a single cut of skin seamed vertically up the front. The tops are finished with a hem of cotton denim carrying the woolen draw-string. Vamps and soles are formed from separate cuts of skin, the latter crimped at the toes and heeels.

- Curator's comments
- The kamiks were made by Broomfield for Sonny Winters, also of Makkovik. They were then sold to the collector by Sonny's mother, Nellie.
