Combined candle-holder and incensario (with lid) (one of a pair); made of black-glazed pottery; a) circular base, tapering in for stem, then flaring out for bowl; flowers cut out of sides of bowl; four cavities for candles protrude around rim of bowl (two tall cavities on opposing sides, two short chalice-shaped cavities on other opposing sides); b) lid circular, tapering in to tube at top for candle; two chalice-shaped cavities on either side; leaves cut out of sides. Used in Day of the Dead Festival.
