- NB: only nos. 25a-r are specifically from Wyeville. The others are from Virginia unspecified.
This collection was listed circa 1986. Item 120 was a series of mixed lithic materials. These have been divided into three: 23a-d: is Northwest Coast, 24a-g is now from Arizona, and 25a-x from Virginia. Those not designated AZ or VA are catalogued with the VA; these are: 1986 Am 18 25q-x. An old Truro label goes with a-r: 'Indian arrow heads found in Wyeville, Virginia in virgin soil in land reclaimed from a forest; being turned with a plough from a depth of six inches. Found and presented by Mr T T James to the Museum' in ink. In pencil is the name of a place and date: 'late of Ensey Kelsdon. 11/12 [or 2] 86. (JCK, 25/6/1997).
