Wooden spear-thrower with ivory edges. Decorated with a design of ten swimming (or flying) animals and two wavy strips representing water all held in place with small ivory pegs.

- Donated by Dr. James Surtees Phillpotts in 1981. Phillpotts had collected this object, with a number of other pieces, while working as an opthalmologist in Greenland, in the region of Angmagsselik. Dr. Phillpotts purchased the harpoon from its creator Biliarm Johnathansan, a noted local craftsman.
