- Description
-
Bag; woven of vegetable fibre; large woven bag with a long multi-stranded handle, made from multiple strands of intertwined threads, expanding to a shoulder pad at the top. The bag is gathered into a number of clumps at the top which are knotted. From these multiple strands, the clumps run to another sequence of knotted gathers, and from these other strands run further to form the strap of the bag. The bag is criss-crossed with pink, pink and turquoise and turquoise and pink bands, formed of dyed strands woven in and repeated. The colours alternate to give an impression of a dominating colour.
