Codex; this Testerian manuscript contains Nahuatl glosses on parchment. The drawings are of catechism and prayers of the Catholic Church, depicting a series of Christian symbols. The manuscript has one page of text and twenty-nine pages of drawings; the outer cover is made of smooth skin; inner cover is made of soft card.

- There are no watermarks on the pages of the manuscript.
Throughout the manuscript, there are stains from the colours used.
Pages throughout the manuscript have been repaired with almost matching paper.
Because of the nature of the paper (thin), impression of the drawings could be seen on the other side.
