- Found in Americas collections apparently unnumbered and unregistered. Formally registered March 2013. Object was found in a match box from the 1867 Exposition Univeselle in Paris along with a small piece of cane. A note states that these are from the material exchanged with the Munich Ethnographic Museum in 1872 and that the "rest to come".
The Munich collection was acquired in Guyana, Colombia and Northern Brazil for the 1867 exposition by Spix & Martius, although the exact context in which this object was collected is unknown.
