Portion of tunic; textile; two main pieces sewn together down front leaving neck slit or arm hole (?); lower border also in two portions; separate fringe; cotton warp and camelid weft (except white cotton); main portions: slit tapestry; striped design; each piece features three design fields with two rows of double, long-tailed bird motifs outlined in black; intervening are sections of narrow coloured stripes, outlined in black, bordered on either side by a row of interlocking volutes; cross knit loop stitch around neck slit/ arm hole, in striped segments. Separate lower border is in two portions; tapestry; central row of black-outlined bird motifs, bordered by narrow coloured stripes on each side; separate fringe: camelid, plain weave, warps/wefts(?) extended to make fringe. Tans, browns, red, pink, white and black.
