- Register addition "box drum". McLennan and Duffek 'The Transforming Image', 2000, pp 88-89 illustrate five drums including this one with caption: 'Box drum, Tsimshian or haida Ninteenth century Wood paint 102x84 cm. An eagle crest is painted on both sides of this suspended-style drum'.
