Spout-and-handle whistling bottle with figurative spout. Chamber portrays squash, ridged with tapering stem; alternating plain and elliptically-stippled sections. Spout in form of seated bird (owl?); parallel incised lines on crown of head. Vertical mould seams down sides including spout; well-smoothed; handle added to incorporate whistle. Non-stippled areas are polished. Black.
