Jar with broad flaring spout and rounded base. Upper portion of chamber features stippled bands, upper one with serrated line and the lower with volutes. Monkey head in the round below the spout at one side; front limbs in low relief. Vertical mould seams down sides. Burnished. Black but with pale fabric showing.
