Jar with flaring spout, pronounced chamber equator and flat base. Spout features head of monkey in low relief; left paw placed on head; arm modelled in the round, functioning as handle; right arm in low relief on chamber surface. Vertical mould seams down sides, including spout. Burnished. Black but much worn off; reddish-grey patching.
